Erin is a clinical psychologist who has over 20 years’ experience in psychotherapy and assessment. She uses an integrative approach to therapy that draws on cognitive-behavioural, emotion-focused, and process-oriented techniques. She is also a trained EMDR therapist and IFS (Level 1) therapist.
Erin is interested in how thoughts, emotions, and the body combine with the past and the present to create strain in our lives and block us from living in connection with ourselves. She combines science and theory with warmth and humour to create a comfortable, safe environment where you can share what you need to share and get down to the work of feeling better.
Erin works with most psychological issues, but her areas of special interest include:
PTSD and trauma-related disorders
overwhelm, stress, and burnout,
difficulties in relationships (e.g., boundaries, relationship patterns, attachment issues)
